Or, The best PG stories of college football's greatest offense

The Penn State-Buffalo game marks the University's official celebration of the 1994 undefeated Big Ten (and National - we agree with the New York Times) Champion Nittany Lions. With an offense that may have been the most potent in the sport's history, the team certainly ranks among State's all-time best, featuring legendary stars like Kerry Collins, Ki-Jana Carter, Kyle Brady, and Bobby Engram along with a punishing offensive line that devastated everyone in their path. Last month, Keith "Goon" Conlin, starting tackle on that line, joined Chris, Kevin, and Mailman for an event with the Lake Erie Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association to share his memories from that magical run. Goon brings all his characteristic honesty and humor to the account, covering everything from making the cover of Sports Illustrated to vainly trying to sneak seconds past Joe Paterno at the pre-Rose Bowl meal. For those who experienced it, it's hard to believe 25 years have passed since that special Autumn in Happy Valley. Enjoy this insider's look back at a time when the Lions ruled the sport like few before or since.
