This is an audio version of our YouTube video. As always in the Bundesliga, our weekend preview starts on a Friday. It’s a match between two teams who have really misplaced their form in the second half of the campaign, with Augsburg at home to Gladbach. The hosts have lost four of their last six, whilst the visitors have lost five straight in the league.  Saturday’s action starts with Mainz at home to Freiburg. Despite their relegation concerns, the hosts are favourites for this game with just one defeat in their last five games. They need just a point to move out of the relegation zone. Freiburg’s last away game was a win over lacklustre Leverkusen.  Union keep drawing matches, meaning European football remains at arm’s length for the capital club. They’ve won just one of their last seven games and up next is Cologne. This is a big game for both sides, with Cologne three points above the relegation play-off places and Dortmund and Wolfsburg up next.  Robert Lewandowski is closing in on Gerd Muller’s all-time Bundesliga record for 40 goals in a season. His Bayern teammates could help him go a step closer to this achievement when they take on Werder Bremen on Saturday. They remain top of the table following a comeback 4-2 win in Der Klassiker last week.  Wolfburg have sat in the Champions League positions for a huge amount of the current campaign. They’re still 3rd following their 2-1 defeat to Hoffenheim. This weekend they play bottom side Schalke, who managed to earn a rare point against Mainz.  Borussia Dortmund take on Sevilla on Tuesday night in the Champions League – we don’t know the outcome of that game as this video goes live. But in the Bundesliga they’ll take on Hertha Berlin. The capital club took a step away from danger with an important win over Augsburg. They’re still just two points above the relegation play-off place.   Bayer Leverkusen beat Gladbach 1-0 at the weekend following a run of five winless games. After just two wins in their last 10, they’re still just three points off the Champions League positions. On Sunday they play Arminia Bielefeld, battling for survival, but struggling to score goals.  The penultimate match sees two strong sides go head-to-head as RB Leipzig host Eintracht Frankfurt. Julian Nagelsmann’s men play Liverpool in the Champions League in midweek; this could impact their approach to this tie. They’ve won six in a row in the league, whilst Eintracht are 4th.  The final game of Matchday 25 sees Hoffenheim travel to Stuttgart. This is a very mid-table clash with the two sides in 11th and 9th respectively. Both will be staying up this season. This game will be played for pride.   Eduardo is in charge of proceedings again this week. He is once again joined by German football and betting expert Radek Vegas to work their way through every game in the Bundesliga.
