This is an audio version of our YouTube show. The action starts tonight Friday with Real Betis desperate to bounce back from their derby day disappointment when they host Levante. The visitors arrive on the back of their own derby, but they won theirs, beating Valencia 1-0.  Saturday’s action kicks off in the Basque Country with Athletic Bilbao at home to Eibar. Points will be the order of the day for the away side; they’re 19th in the standings and just 2 points from escaping the dropzone.  Real Madrid will be very keen to close the gap to their nearest and dearest rivals above them in the standings when they travel north to play Celta Vigo. The Galician side could potentially end Los Blancos’ La Liga hopes with a home win here.   Huesca followed up their 4-3 defeat to Celta with a 4-1 loss to Barcelona. They’re leaking goals. This weekend they host Osasuna, a side with two away wins in their last two games over Levante and Alaves.  Real Valladolid and Sevilla meet in the evening kick-off, the hosts are now three points above the dreaded relegation zone having lost just once in their last five games – and even that was against Real Madrid.   Into Sunday, points are required for Getafe to keep their heads above water. The Madrid side are just five points from the bottom three and keep looking down, rather than up. They play Elche, a side with five defeats in a row and no away wins in 11 matches.  Valencia will have the opportunity to take advantage of a tired Granada squad when they meet at the Mestalla on Sunday. The visitors somehow made it through to the next stage of the Europa League and have been rewarded by being drawn with Manchester United.  Villarreal are closing in on the European qualification positions following their 3-1 win over Eibar. That result actually ended a run of eight winless games in La Liga. Their opponents this week, Cadiz, haven’t won in nine successive away games.  The penultimate game of Matchday 28 in Spain’s top-flight sees top of the table Atletico Madrid host Alaves. Diego Simeone’s side were knocked out of the Champions League by Chelsea this week and now must fully focus on their title ambitions.   The final game of the weekend should be a great game. Barcelona must show their ruthless nature when they head to San Sebastian to play Real Sociedad. Ronald Koeman’s side have won 11 out of their last 12 league games and need to continue that scintillating form if they’re going to close down and leapfrog Atletico at the summit.   Eduardo Siles is back in the hot seat presenting Odds On.
