Bundesliga predictions and betting tips on Matchday 13.  Hit ‘Subscribe’ above to make sure you never miss our Bundesliga previews!  It’s Matchday 13 of the German top-flight 2020/21, and we’re looking forward to some more classic encounters between the cream of the crop in Germany. All the big dogs are back in action, and we’ve got a top of the table clash to get out teeth stuck into ahead of the annual winter break. Here we go!  Friday night’s Bundesliga action starts with surprise package Union Berlin at home to Borussia Dortmund. The capital’s second club has stunned many opponents this season and currently sit seventh in the standings after 12 matches. The minnows have only won one of their previous five matches and face a tough test when the rejuvenated Dortmund come to Berlin.   Into Saturday, and Champions League Last-16ers Borussia Monchengladbach host Hoffenheim. The visitors have lost their previous two matches, whilst Borussia have drawn four of their previous five league games in a busy schedule. Then we come to a proper relegation scrap, as winless (you know about this) Schalke host Arminia Bielefeld. These two clubs are 18th and 16th in the standings. Not very nice. 

Mainz, 17th in the league, will entertain Werder Bremen at the same time on Saturday. Werder are on a shocking run, having lost all their previous four games. RB Leipzig are also playing. They welcome Cologne to the Red Bull Arena, looking to continue their title mount against their opponents down in 15th.  Bundesliga’s most mid-table sides are also meeting. Augsburg are 9th, and Eintracht Frankfurt are in 10th as we reach the midway point of the German campaign. Eintracht have been unfortunate with a couple of their results this season and probably deserve to be higher up the table.

Saturday’s action ends with the game of the weekend as leaders Leverkusen play defending champions Bayern Munich. Leverkusen are yet to be beaten in the league, winning four of their previous five domestic matches to lift themselves to the summit of the division. Bayern have faced European distractions and have stuttered recently with three draws from their most recent five games.   Into Sunday and we’ve got two matches to enjoy. Freiburg welcome capital club Hertha Berlin to Schwarzwald-Stadion. It’s another close tie, with the clubs situated in 11th and 12th in the league table. The Bundesliga action is rounded off for this week as Wolfsburg play Stuttgart. This has all the ingredients for a superb game.
