We’re two games into the new season and Borussia Dortmund’s title tilt is basically over after losing to Freiburg 2-1 last weekend. Guess we have to rely on RB Leipzig to take the challenge to perennial league winners Bayern Munich. This week they play Hoffenheim, who have started their campaign in decent fashion with four points from two games. Eintracht are another side who have stuttered at the beginning of the new campaign. They need to bounce back against relegation candidates Arminia to get their campaign underway after two games without a victory.

Bayer Leverkusen beat Gladbach 4-0 last time out to add to their 1 point won over Union Berlin on the opening day. Patrik Schick is already among the goals. This weekend they play Augsburg, who have just one point to their name so far. Bochum surprised us - and many others - on Saturday with a nice 2-0 win over Mainz. It’s been a great comeback to the Bundesliga following last season’s promotion. They play Cologne, who lost 3-2 to Bayern in Matchday 2 (fair enough) but beat Hertha in the season opener.

Main are huge favourite to bounce back with a win over Greuther Furth this weekend. Despite beating RB Leipzig on the opening day they were sunk by Bochum. We’ve already mentioned that. Bundes rookies Greuther collected their first points in the German top-flight with a 1-1 draw against Bielefeld.

Stuttering Stuttgart play Freiburg in the next game. They lost 4-0 to Leipzig but beat Furth 5-1. Could they prove to be better at home this season? For Freiburg, they’ve had a great start, especially with last weekend’s victory over the ‘mighty’ BVB. Champs Bayern Munich host Hertha at the Allianz. Der Berliners are already in trouble after just a couple of games played. They’re the only side with two defeats, and not many would bet against  them making it three defeats on the bounce against Julian Nagelsmann’s Dream XI.

The penultimate game of our Bundesliga betting preview is a tasty affair, with Wolfsburg taking over champions-hopefuls Leipzig. The Wolves are the only side with two wins to their name, whilst Jesse Marsch’s RB returned to winning ways convincingly over Stuttgart 4-0 in MD2.

Finally, we wrap up our round-up with the late game, Union Berlin vs Borussia Monchengladbach. Last season there were two draws between these sides, and the odds are pretty tight between them once again. The draw at 3.42 looks quite tempting; and we know how much our tipster Radek loves a draw! Our resident host Eduardo Siles is joined by German football and betting expert Radek Vegas to preview every single match of the Bundesliga this year.
