Bundesliga Matchday 9 betting tips and predictions. That’s what we’re bringing you, each and every week of the 2020/21 German football season. We’ve got some great games to look forward to this weekend, so let’s take a look at what’s on the agenda for this game week.

The Bundesliga big boys have featured in major continental action this weekend, with the division heavyweights playing out their scheduled Champions League and Europa League fixtures. How will this impact the results of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Borussia Monchengladbach and the rest of the league’s elite?  First up this weekend, Wolfsburg take on Werder Bremen on Friday night. The visitors drew with leaders Bayern last weekend, can they produce another fine performance to cause Wolfsburg’s first defeat of the season?   Augsburg welcome Freiburg to WWK Arena on Saturday. The ‘Fuggerstadter’ started the season strongly, with seven points from a possible nine to kick-start their campaign, but since then they’ve really tailed off. Freiburg, meanwhile, had the ignominy of losing to Mainz. This is a tough one to call.

Erling Haaland is a cyborg, it’s official. He followed up his four-goal haul over Hertha last weekend with a brace in the Champions League on Tuesday. Dortmund and their Golden Boy face Cologne at home on Saturday. Their goalkeeper might get backache picking the ball out the net.  Title challengers RB Leipzig play host to Arminia Bielefeld at the Red Bull Arena at the same time. Leipzig lost (again) to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday and with their UCL campaign in tatters, they’ll be desperate to secure max points against their lowly opponents.   Defending champs, and league leaders, Bayern go to draw-merchants Stuttgart. The recently promoted Bundes side have tied five of their eight games so far. Bayern drew their last game against Werder Bremen and will be determined not to miss out on all the points this time around.

Elsewhere on Saturday, surprise package Union Berlin entertain Eintracht Frankfurt at the charming Stadion An der Alten Forsterei, and Schalke travel to Monchengladbach to take on European candidate Borussia. The Gelsenkirchen outfit are on a 24-game winless run. When will it end? Finally, on Sunday, Bayer Leverkusen play Hertha Berlin and Mainz face-off against Hoffenheim to wrap up the Bundes action on Matchday 9.   We’ve got the best odds, up to date news, betting info and predictions.
