Or the German Cup, however you prefer. 16 teams remain in the competition, and we’ve got eight great games to preview with betting tips and predictions. Let’s get into it.   Two former Bundesliga sides face-off in our first DFB Cup tie on Tuesday night, as Holstein Kiel host Darmstadt. Holstein are 3rd in the 2. Bundesliga and have a fighting chance to return to the top-flight this season. Their visitors are down having less fun this season down in 12th place. A place in the quarter finals awaits the winner here.  Our second game is a really intriguing affair. Rot-Weiss Essen are second in the fourth-tier Regionalliga West – they’re at home to Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen. Essen have beaten Bundesliga’s Arminia Bielefeld and Fortuna Dusseldorf to reach this stage of the competition. Another upset would surely be the biggest result in the club’s history.  Also on Tuesday, Borussia Dortmund are at home to second division Paderborn, whilst Werder Bremen play host to Greuther Furth. The away side are currently 4th in 2. Bundesliga and have lost just three times in their previous 16 games in all competitions.   Onto Wednesday and a further four games for us to enjoy. The action starts at the Red Bull Arena, as Bundesliga title hopefuls take on lower league side Bochum. They’re riding high in 2nd place in the second division, but this seems like a pretty tall order to go away to Julian Nagelsmann’s side and earn a win. The following game is between two Bundesliga sides as Schalke travel to Wolfsburg, hoping to find some joy in this record-setting poor campaign  Wednesday’s penultimate game sees Jahn Regensburg of the German second division welcome relegation-threatened Cologne to eastern Bavaria. Finally, the German Cup Last 16 action is rounded off with Stuttgart at home to Borussia Monchengladbach.
