La Liga picks, tips and predictions. That’s what you want, that’s what we’ve got for you tonight. We’re here give you the best odds and insight into Spanish football’s biggest matches this weekend across the Primera Division. It’s Matchday 11 of the 2020/21 campaign, so let’s get involved.

We begin our Liga preview with a relegation scrap towards the bottom of the table, as Real Valladolid meet Levante at the Jose Zorrilla on Friday night.   On Saturday, the early kick-off sees two recently promoted sides meet, as Elche play host to high-flying Cadiz, currently sitting fifth in the standings. Elche aren’t doing too bad themselves in 10th.   

Topsy-turvy Valencia meet title challengers Atletico Madrid at the Mestalla in our third game. Javi Gracia’s side lost three on the bounce before their current run of three unbeaten. Atletico, meanwhile, have been very Atletico and are refusing to concede goals.

Huesca – one of only eight teams in Europe’s big-five leagues still without a win – face a tough test when they welcome Europa League holders Sevilla to their place on Saturday evening. Surely they can’t get their first W of the season this weekend?  Defending champions Real Madrid round off Saturday’s play when they face-off against Alaves. Zinedine Zidane’s men are six points off current leaders Real Sociedad but this is a great chance for them to close the gap to the Basque side.  

Sunday: Barca (13th) are at home to Osasuna (14th). It’s a middle of the table clash. We’re joking. Ronald Koeman’s men have proved their worth in the Champions League this year and will make strides up the table very soon.  Also on Sunday, Athletic Bilbao travel to Getafe, and bottom-club Celta meet sixth-placed Granada. We also have the matter of early-season surprise Real Sociedad looking to continue their fine start against Unai Emery’s Villarreal, who have impressed many and currently sit in third.

This week he is once again joined by his compatriot and friend Alvaro Romeo to discuss all things Spanish football. They’re getting so competitive with their tips it’s like having Cristiano and Messi back together. They’re here to analyse, preview and dissect La Liga’s Matchday 11 action.
