Everton sit at the summit with Aston Villa tucked in behind in second place as the only unbeaten sides in the division. Should the Villans avoid defeat to Leeds on Friday night, they’ll top the Prem for the first time since August 2011. Utter madness. 

A Midlands’ side, narrowly avoiding relegation the season prior, charging to the top of the table a few weeks later… is this a Leicester City 2.0 season? No, probably not.   The early game on Saturday sees Davey Moyes’ Hammers play host to Pep’s Manchester City. West Ham earned a take-your-shirt-off-in-excitement point against Spurs last Sunday, when Manuel Lanzini hit an absolute belter into the top corner to complete a 3-3 comeback at Tottenham’s ground. It was pandemonium in north London. Will West Ham produce another shock this weekend?  But the big game of the weekend involves the other side in Manchester. United will take on Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at Old Trafford, looking to finally glean some consistency from a confusing start to their campaign. Beaten by Palace, played off the park by Brighton, thrashed by Spurs, but a win over Paris Saint-Germain in France. Try and make sense of that.
