We’re here give you the best odds and insight into Italian football’s biggest matches this weekend across Serie A. It’s Matchday 16 of the 2020/21 campaign, so let’s get involved. And yeah, we’re starting this halfway into the season. Don’t you want more of our betting predictions? We’re just here to make you money!  We start our very first Serie A week preview in Sardinia, with Cagliari at home to Benevento. Eusebio di Francesco’s side have hit seriously poor form in recent weeks and are without a win in the league in eight games. Benevento, meanwhile, are up in 10th, and performing much better than their ill-fated one-season spell in 2017/18.

It’s a busy schedule on Wednesday, with every club in action. Atalanta have found the shooting boots once again, scoring 12 goals in their last three home games, winning all of them in due course. This week they host Parma, a side struggling to avoid the danger zone, currently down in 16th spot.  Bologna host Udinese at the Renato Dall’Ara. This is mid-table clash if we’ve ever seen one, with the two sides in 12th and 13th respectively. Bologna haven’t won in six, whilst Udine have just one win from their last five league games. The league’s bottom side are also in action, with Crotone entertaining third-placed Roma. The hosts have picked up two wins and a draw from their last five, and their season is beginning to look slightly less embarrassing.

Elsewhere, Lazio welcome La Viola to the Italian capital. Fiorentina have struggled to impress this season, but are unbeaten in their last four games, with Lazio slightly further up the standings in 9th position.   Inter Milan are battering any club that steps in front of them right now. This time around, they make the short trip to take on Sampdoria. Samp are down in 11th, and they could be in for another tough afternoon when Antonio Conte’s juggernaut arrives in town. Sassuolo, who have impressed many this season, welcome Samp’s rivals Genoa to the MAPEI. Roberto De Zerbi’s side have hit some inconsistency and will want to secure maximum points against their relegation-threatened opponents.

The final 2pm kick-off game sees Verona take on Torino in the north. Finally, we have Napoli at home to lackless Spezia, before the game of Matchday 16. Defending champions Juventus go to the San Siro desperate for maximum points. Andrea Pirlo’s men are an almighty 10 points off the pace, with Milan topping the table by a single point by their nearest and fiercest rivals Inter.

Alongside our resident host Eduardo Siles sits a man who required no introduction. But we’re giving him one anyway. Daniele Fisichella will be on hand every week to give you the best odds, tips and predictions for every Serie A game until the end of the season. You can also catch him on Odds On: Champions League.
