We’re here give you the best odds and insight into Italian football’s biggest matches this weekend across Serie A. It’s Matchday 17 of the 2020/21 campaign, so let’s get involved.   We start in the very centre of Italy as Benevento host free-scoring Atalanta. The Stregoni have performed above their expectations so far this season and Filippo Inzaghi’s side currently sit 10th in the table. The visitors from Bergamo are slowly making their way up the standings, having scored 12 goals in their last four games.   Also on Saturday, 19th placed Genoa welcome Bologna to Sardinia. The hosts look in danger of sinking into Serie B for the first time since 2006/07 unless they buck up their ideas. Bologna, meanwhile, are on a run of five draws in a row, which is pretty uncommon in truth.  The other game on the 14th sees table toppers Milan look to bounce back from their disappointing defeat to Juventus on Wednesday when they host Torino at the San Siro. Fortunately for the red and blacks, their closest rivals (in proximity and in the standings) Inter also lost last time out.  Sunday’s action bursts into life with a top of the table clash between Roma and title-challengers Inter. Antonio Conte’s side were on the rampage until hitting the breaks against Sampdoria. Before that, the Nerazzurri were smashing goals in for fun, but last time out they dropped Romelu Lukaku. He’ll surely be back for this one.   Following that juicy tie, we’ve got three 2pm kick-offs to enjoy, including Lazio’s trip to Parma (the Hernan Crespo derby), Udinese against Napoli, and also Verona against bottom club Crotone (they’re in deep trouble at the bottom).  Then two sides that have failed to impress meet. This, of course, is Fiorentina and Cagliari. Sitting 14th and 15th in the division respectively, both sides will be wanting to secure maximum points in order to kick-start their 2021 and look towards European spots. A much warmer feeling than considering a relegation scrap.   Sunday’s action is wrapped up with a tasty clash between Juventus and Sassuolo. The visitors will be an awkward guest at the J Stadium, and Andrea Pirlo’s side will have to be at their best if they’re going to get a good result at full-time and continue their good form from earlier in the week.  Finally, Matchday 18 of this Serie A season sees Sampdoria make the short trip to Spezia. Samp have won just three of their last 12 games in all competitions but somehow still sit 10th in the standings. The hosts, on the other hand, stunned Napoli last time out to move themselves above the drop zone.    Alongside our resident host Eduardo Siles sits a man who required no introduction. But we’re giving him one anyway. Daniele Fisichella will be on hand every week to give you the best odds, tips and predictions for every Serie A game until the end of the season. You can also catch him on Odds On: Champions League.
