This is an audio version of our YouTube video. Ecuador have impressed so far in their World Cup campaign and currently sit third in the standings with 9 points. Last time out they lost 2-0 to Brazil and up next for El Tri is a clash with bottom of the table Peru. Gareca’s men lost 3-0 to Colombia making it four straight defeats and 3 games without scoring a single goal.

Altitude was a problem for Venezuela in their trip to La Paz in the last game week. They lost 3-1 to Bolivia following their surprise 2-1 victory over Chile. They’ve now suffered four defeats on the road to the World Cup and now face Uruguay at home. The visitors drew 0-0 with Paraguay following the 2-0 defeat to Brazil. They’re 5th in the table having taken 7 points but they will be without their star striker Edinson Cavani for this one.

Argentina have taken 11 points from 5 games so far, the only points they’ve dropped were against Chile last time out where they drew 1-1. As always for La Albiceleste, they’re a top-heavy squad, with Leo Messi, Lautaro Martinez, Rodrigo de Paul and Lucas Ocampos all attacking at once and looking strong doing so. This midweek’s fixtures sees them play Colombia away from home in Barranquilla.

Brazil won’t find it comfortable in Asuncion this week when they make the trip to take on Paraguay for their World Cup qualifier. Having said that, they have won all five of their games so far, beating Ecuador 2-0 last time out with Richarlison and Neymar on the scoresheet. The only goals they conceded so far were actually against Peru who are bottom of the table ironically.

Final game we’ll be previewing for the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers sees Chile take on Bolivia at home. La Roja Are down in 7th place in the table with just 5 points so far accumulated. They drew 1-1 with Lionel Messi’s Argentina in their last qualifier but now they really need to capitalise on their clash with Bolivia. They sit just one place and one point below their opponents after beating Venezuela 3-1 with Moreno Martins’ strike taking his tally to 5 goals in qualification and is now South America's top goal scorer in the road to Qatar.
