This is one of the most common and popular types of betting markets, and one you can use to increase your betting profit.   In this video we will explain what Over/Under Betting is, using examples on the Oddspedia site, some strategies for how to make profit and other useful tips to make sure you can maximise your returns on this popular betting market.   Often used in football betting, punters will bet on whether a certain situation within an event - such as the number of goals scored, corners awarded or cards handed out – will be more or fewer than a pre-determined number.   For example, in a football match, the most common bet is whether there will be Over or Under 2.5 goals. As it is impossible to have .5 of a goal, there will always be a clear outcome.   In the case of Over 2.5 goals, three or more goals must be scored in the match for you to win your bet.
