With the World Cup a matter of days away this week we've focusing in on the tournament, with our very own PNE slant.

Joining us in the studio is former PNE goalkeeper and goalkeeping coach Alan Kelly.

He speaks openly on a number of issues including his own World Cup experience with the Republic of Ireland at both USA 94 and in Japan & South Korea in 2002.

Working with Jordan Pickford at Everton, Kelly also discusses the former North End loanee's strengths and chances of being the man between the sticks for England in Russia.

We're also joined on the phone by ex-PNE and Scotland manager Craig Brown to talk about the coach's perspective of a World Cup tournament having led Scotland at France 98.

He also shares his views on PNE discussing his time at Deepdale plus his relationship with Billy Davies and his aspirations for what Alex Neil can achieve with the Lilywhites.

Away from the World Cup theme we hear from new signing Michael Crowe having agreed to join the Lilywhites from Ipswich Town while there is also news on new contracts for both Sean Maguire, who's spoken to iFollow PNE plus goalkeeper Matt Hudson.

All that, plus 'Talk of the Terrace' which this week involves Paul Flynn who has headed up an initiative through the supporters' online forum to buy two season cards for fans unable to commit to one themselves.

If you want to share any feedback with the PNE club podcast please email us media@pne.com, your opinions and views are always welcome.
