Defender Paul Huntington joins us this week on the PNE Podcast, as we reflect on last weekend’s 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest.

That result leaves PNE with just one defeat in 11 outings heading into the busy Christmas period, which is something Huntington believes gives the squad plenty of confidence.

He also talks about captain Tom Clarke playing in a protective mask at the City Ground, having broken his nose in the recent meeting with Middlesbrough at Deepdale.

Huntington also tells the PNE Podcast of the importance of the Lilywhites’ home form heading towards the New Year with three of the next four games to come on home soil.

David Eyres also joins us to reflect on North End’s Division Two title winning side in 2000, having lifted the league title at Deepdale following a lively 3-2 win over this weekend’s opponents Millwall.

Having got PNE off the mark that afternoon, Eyres talks about that successful season under the stewardship of David Moyes.

As well as all of that, former Lilywhites’ winger Simon Whaley joins us to give us his Star Six.

Having made his debut at home to Millwall in January 2006, Whaley went on to play over 130 times for PNE, including scoring the winner in a 3-2 win against Burnley 11 years ago this coming weekend.
