Ahead of the return to FA Cup action this weekend the first Official PNE Club Podcast of 2019 is now available.

This week our focus switches to the FA Cup ahead of Doncaster Rovers visiting Deepdale in the Third Round on Sunday.

Joining us to reflect on his FA Cup memories, and preview Sunday’s game, we’re joined by Tom Clarke.

The captain talks about the memorable nights against both Manchester United and Arsenal he’s been involved at during his time with the Lilywhites.

As well as that he pays credit to the current squad, having had to deal with a congested fixture list with the injury list piling up.

With Ethan Walker becoming the youngest player to feature in a league game for the club during the recent 1-1 draw with Aston Villa, we check in the Academy’s Head of Recruitment Andy Livingstone.

He explains the pathway to the first team for the youngsters in the academy as well as explaining the route to Alex Neil’s first team for both Walker and fellow debutant Adam O’Reilly.

Star Six also features with former PNE forward Chris Brown sharing his team of the best six players he turned out with at PNE.

With the FA Cup on the horizon this weekend the former striker, who played over 100 times for both the Lilywhites and Doncaster Rovers, also shares his memories of playing Chelsea at Deepdale back in January 2010.

There’s all of that plus Alex Neil’s assessment of the New Year’s Day game with Rotherham United and also you can hear from new signing Josh Ginnelly who’s been speaking with iFollow PNE.

The podcast is brought to you on a weekly basis by host Guy Clarke.
