The capital’s calling once more as North End head to Millwall this weekend, and ahead of the trip the latest Official PNE Club Podcast is now out!

This week our focus switches to the backline, following a third clean sheet in five outings for PNE in the goalless draw against Nottingham Forest.

With youngsters Ben Davies and Jordan Storey currently at the heart of the Lilywhites’ defence this week, we’ve been chatting with first team coach Steve Thompson.

‘Thommo’ discusses a number of topics ahead of this weekend’s trip to Millwall including the partnership of Davies and Storey and what they can expect to face at The Den.

He also touches on the importance of the unity within the collective squad and how that’s helped the Lilywhites to move up the table in recent weeks, plus the importance of the club’s recruitment.

Having scored his first PNE goal on North End’s last trip to the capital we also catch up with midfielder Brad Potts.

The former Barnsley man has slotted in seamlessly into the Lilywhites’ midfield following his January move.

He reflects on his first month at Deepdale, as well as his desire to score in front of the home fans having found the back of the net in the away wins over QPR and Stoke City.

Star Six this week comes from Lee Cartwright who made over 450 appearances for PNE after coming through the youth ranks in the early 90s.

He touches on the success the squad had in his time, including two league titles and two Play-Off Finals too.

Plus we also have ‘Talk of the Terrace’ for you as well with PNE fan David Livick, and a listen back to PNE’s 3-2 win over Millwall back in December.

The podcast is brought to you weekly by host Guy Clarke.

It’s available through a number of platforms including iTunes, Soundcloud, TuneIn and right here on the club website.

As always, if you want to feature on coming any episodes and share your views in our ‘Talk of the Terrace’ feature just email media@pne.com
