Prior to the busy Easter programme, including Friday’s Retro Day at Deepdale, this week’s Official PNE Club Podcast is now out.

There’s plenty in store this week on the podcast, following the news manager Alex Neil has agreed a new three-year deal with the club, to midfielder Ryan Ledson’s ambitions for the rest of the season and a look ahead to Retro Day.

Good Friday’s game with Ipswich Town is this season’s designated Retro Day.

It is an opportunity for supporters to dig out old kits and come along and reminisce at Deepdale, though this year it is also in aid of former Lilywhites full-back Gary Parkinson.

Joining us on the podcast this week to talk about his dad, who suffers with locked-in syndrome following a stroke in 2010 is Gary’s son Luke.

Luke explains the work he and the rest of his family put in to supporting his dad through the work of the Gary Parkinson Trust.

Away from Retro Day, our focus this week on the podcast centres around manager Alex Neil.

Dave Seddon from the Lancashire Post joins us this week to talk about a busy time at Deepdale following rumours and speculation ahead of last weekend’s trip to the Hawthorns.

Having signed his new contract you can also hear from the manager, who’s been speaking with iFollow PNE.

Midfielder Ryan Ledson also gives his thoughts to the podcast, from a player’s point of view.

He shares his views on the manager securing his future to PNE as well as his own aims for the rest of the season.

With four games left to play the former Everton and Oxford man admits he still has plenty to play for as the season enters it’s final weeks.

‘Talk of the Terrace’ this week features Toronto Wolfpack halfback Ryan Brierley, who tells us all about the rigours of supporting PNE!

Plus ahead of the trip to Wigan on Easter Monday there is also a listen back to the previous meeting between the two sides back in October and Deepdale.

As well as that there’s a trip down memory lane to April 2000 as North End went to the DW Stadium, then the JJB, in a first versus second battle at the top of Division Two.

The goalscorer that evening, Mike Jackson, joins us to reflect on that moment as well as his whole PNE career.

Having played over 250 times in the league alone, during his seven year stay at Deepdale he looks back fondly on his time with the Lilywhites including that successful 1999/2000 Division Two winning season.

The podcast is brought to you weekly by host Guy Clarke.

It’s available through a number of platforms including iTunes, Soundcloud, TuneIn and right here on the club website.

As always, if you want to feature on coming any episodes and share your views in our ‘Talk of the Terrace’ feature just email media@pne.com
