On this episode of the Oil Country Podcast, Jon and Kyle are Joined by Comedian, Oilers fan and Good Ol Edmonton Boy, Lars Callieou (On twitter and Instagram @ExtraLars).

Lars has spent the last 17 years living his dream, travelling the world as a stand up comedian. In addition to twice being nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award, Lars has appeared in the Just For Laughs Festival in Montrèal, as well as frequenting both the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and the Halifax Comedy Festival. Lars has gone overseas to entertain our troops on four seperate occasions. He regularly performs in Australia, Thailand and Vietnam in addition to his local and North American gigs. Lars has had the pleasure of touring with Comedic legends Joan Rivers, Jeff Foxworthy, Bob Saget and Martin Short. He has also participated in Comedy clinics in foreign countries, and performed captioned shows for the hard of hearing fans in Edmonton. In addition to his Stand-up Career, Lars has made a name for himself as an extremely friendly, positive and of course hilarious Twitter personality.
