In our second episode we discuss the first Grasshopper of the season, Old Caz. Conditions were wet and messy and it resulted in a more difficult than usual race. Nick Nesbitt, the chairman of Redwood Empire Mountain Bike Alliance checks in with progress on 300,000 acre Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument as well as Fitch Mountain in Healdsburg. There have been some trail closures in Annadel due to trees that fell in the recent storms. We also interview John Leckrone of Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz who gives us the current situation for the Soquel Demo Forest. He advises that for those in the area who need some off-road riding, he recommends Wilder Ranch or going south to Fort Ord. MBoSC is celebrating 20 years this year and John shares some insight on their new initiatives. In our calendar we take a look at a number of events coming up including some NCNCA stuff as well as the season's second Grasshopper.
