#60: Milan-San Remo, Grasshopper, Eric Bruins, Rob Taynton - a podcast by Red Kite Prayer

To say we're a man down isn't quite enough. Hottie just started a new job and Fatty is buried under mountains of software code, or something. So our man Padraig took this one mostly on his own. We open with a discussion (monologue?) of last weekend's Milan-San Remo and Peter Sagan's reasons for not winning. Padraig segue's into his much more humble experience at the Lake Sonoma edition of the Grasshopper Adventure Series.

Hottie joins in for an interview with Rob Taynton who owns a combination bike shop/inn in Scottsdale, Ariz. The shop is unusual in its own right for the fact that he only carries steel bikes. Next up, we interview cycling advocate Eric Bruins whose background may seem a bit unusual among those who lobby government for cycling facilities. Last summer Jeff Archer, the owner of First Flight Bicycles in Statesville, North Carolina, and MOMBAT (the Museum of Mountain Bike Art and Technology) was killed by a drunk driver. His killer has pleaded guilty and been sentenced. And, unfortunately, another bike magazine hits the dust.
