Stumbling on a career path in radio.
Breakfast Radio - Talk back radio - Talk back, call in segments,
Catch Up Podcasting for a commercial radio station where the radio station airs the show for people who may have missed the original segment. What is interesting is the fact that the ads were cut out from the podcasts.
Discovered podcasting during the archival process of burning radio shows on CDs. Binged on all episodes of this american life.
Realized that radio could be an outlet for writing. A way of story telling.
Listen to this podcast to understand the relationship between writing, podcasting, radio and content creation/production. Podcasts as a way of creative expression.
Heard Jay Rosan talk about Giant Pool of Money - This American Life (Link required) during the Melborne Writer's Festival to realize the there can be audio journalism. With Journalism that does not need to be immediate.
World of audio documentaries.
Also, one of Jess' favorite episodes. If you are a journalism student, then you need to be learning about -  - Audio Production - Learn Interviewing - Narrative - Story - How to tell good stories in different ways / perspectives.
Sometimes if a story does not go as per plan, then maybe one can end up with a better story. What is important is that the listener/reader has a proper sense of what happened in the start, the beginning and the ending.
