In this episode, Josh and Andrea chat with one of the current moderators of #pblchat, Leah Henry (@LeahRossHenry) about the value of social media and networking for educators. With the boom in social media as a professional tool over the last several years, educators across the country and even world have been using the internet as a medium for making connections, gathering and exchanging resources, and improving their practice. The #pblchat, first created by Theresa Hall (@TheresaJHall), and now run by Leah and other guest facilitators, is an incredible tool and resource for PBL teachers at any point in their PBL journey. Leah talks about the value of pushing deeper thinking through the topics and questions of #pblchat, as well as the best ways to utilize social media as a networking tool to help improve teaching practice.
