The industry people who write IPM laws can’t actually define it. On today’s edition, we educate people on what IPM really means as opposed to ‘spray and pray’. Traditional IPM is based on a pyramid structure that works from bottom to top. These controls range from sanitation protocols, through mechanical means, biology and finally pesticides. Conventional methods focus on trapping and killing. IPM, however, is situational and assessment based. It involves pest life cycles, pest-environment interaction, pest biology and often include exclusion services to proof properties against rodents. Tune in as we get into the specifics of actual IPM. #pestcontroltraining? #pestcontrol? Support Us On Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Pestgeekpodcast?
