For the past two weeks, there have been cases of rape and murder in Nigeria, from Uwa to Jennifer, to Azeezat to Ada. A lot of people had a lot to say about the issue. What is heartbreaking is the take by some people that the victims of rape are at fault for what happened to them. 
From several comments online, it is evident that a lot of people do not understand the concept of rape, and to understand rape, one must first understand consent.
