The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, ISIS, is rapidly losing territory and seems to be collapsing. Can this collapsing Islamic State pose new challenges to India and its neighbourhood?

Foreign policy scholar Kabir Taneja  talks to host Pavan Srinath  on ISIS and terrorism in the age of social media on Episode 74 of the Pragati Podcast. He makes a persuasive case for more attention and scholarship on ISIS.

Kabir Taneja is an Associate Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation and works on India's relations with West Asia. He recently published a monograph on The ISIS Phenomenon: South Asia and Beyond.
