Breastfeeding, despite being one of the most natural things in the world, is often far from easy. I would go as far to say those first few weeks are one of the most challenging things I have done. Going into the early days of breastfeeding with realistic expectations and an honest understanding of what is normal, what isn’t and ways to troubleshoot these can make a huge difference and the best time to educate yourself and prevent common issues such as poor latch or supply issues is in pregnancy itself.
Today I am joined by a fellow mum and breastfeeding cheerleader, Alice Lucken @babyetaluk. Alice is a lactation consultant and postnatal practitioner dedicating her work to supporting families in their breastfeeding journeys and my goodness one thing we do know is there needs to be a heck of a lot more support! This episode is sponsored by Aptaclub, bringing you reliable information, tips and checklists about all things pregnancy, birth and baby from Aptaclub experts.
