In this episode, Frances Dean, BSHP talks about her journey thus far in public health. Frances has definitely put herself out there after having switched from pre-nursing to health promotion in her undergrad. She has had fantastic undergraduate internships such as Project Imhotep at the Moorehouse College and becoming a CDC Public Health Associated Program (PHAP) after graduating. Frances has completed her Bachelors in Health Promotion at the University of Georgia in 2018 and will start a dual degree in Masters of Public Health and Masters of Social Work at the University of Michigan in the Fall. She is also a SMART Scholar with the Department of Defense (DoD).
