In this episode, Dr. Sharon Attipoe-Dorcoo walks us through her journey in public health. Currently, Dr. Sharon works as a Health Services and System Researcher at CDC via Bizzell Group LLC. Sharon immigrated from Ghana to the USA when she was 16 to further her studies. She completed her Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Chemical Engineering at the University of Virginia. She then got her Master of Biomedical Science and Biotechnology at the University of Massachusetts, before attaining both her Master of Public Health and PhD in Management and Health Policy at The University of Texas Health Science Center. Sharon also has a company with her husband, Tersha LLC, and is an author of a children's book called: Koli and Bosco "The Dog."
