My guest this week is my friend Dean Bubley, a 5G, Cloud, mobile connectivity, telecom guru based out of the UK, and we got together to talk about the future trends in mobile connectivity (our apps). We spend, on average, 5 hours a day using apps; almost everything we do involves an app. Banking, shopping, entertainment, security, you name it – we use it. That’s a significant part of our waking lives.  Whether you realize it or not – the future of apps is important to you. What would happen if the networks and internet our devices use are compromised, or worse, not available at all? Sound farfetched? Maybe, but given our current geo politics – it is part of an interesting and pertinent discussion that you won’t want to miss. Dean Bubley (@disruptivedean) is the founder of Disruptive Analysis, an independent technology industry analyst and consulting firm based in London. Prior to that, he spent eight years at UK research firm Datamonitor, where he co-founded the company's Technology business, managed the Internet & Networking area and custom consulting operations, with roles of Chief Analyst & Director of Consulting. He holds a BA in Physics from Keble College, Oxford University.
