“Fall down seven times, get up eight,” is a concept of resilience in the face of countless adversities. In this episode, Deshauna Barber gives a glimpse of her journey before she remarkably made history. 

No one is exempted from life’s hardships and challenges. In fact, before winning her Miss USA crown, Deshauna experienced a series of failures and numerous defeats. In the midst of these consistent defeats was her perseverance and determination to chase her dream, and did not dare give up. She knows what it’s like to lose and fail, but she also knows what it’s like to own the Universe. Indeed as the saying goes, “The flower that blooms in adversity, is the most rare and beautiful of all.” There is beauty and strength in never giving up.
