Our bodies run on a circadian rhythm, which is an internal clock or schedule of which all the important processes that happen in our body run on and it is dictated by our wake, eat and sleep cycles. But we also have an internal clock and rhythm for productivity and energy.  For peak energy and performance, it doesn't serve us or our mission/life’s purpose to work for hours straight throughout the day and 7 days a week. We have to take breaks - mental breaks and digital breaks.

My guest on today’s episode, Stephanie Redcross West, started Vegan Mainstream based on a simple idea: to build a pro-vegan world, we need a solid infrastructure of successful businesses and brands to ensure that an ethical lifestyle is accessible to everyone, everywhere. This is her mission and she shares today how she is working towards this goal while practicing self care by setting healthy boundaries.

If you get fatigued, spacey, irritable, distracted, or fidgety at 2 pm in the afternoons, this is the episode to listen to. You are not to blame. Our bodies are not meant to sit for long hours looking at screens. We need to walk and we need to take breaks.
