The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 1:

  • On Saturday, University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill resigned from her position following controversial statements she made during a U.S. House Education and Workforce Committee hearing. During one exchange with Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) asked Magill if calls for Jewish genocide on campus would violate the school’s code of conduct. Magill responded: “If the speech becomes conduct, it can be harassment.” Rep. Stefanik then countered, “conduct meaning committing the act of genocide?” Melissa Korn of The Wall Street Journal writes, “Magill will stay on until an interim president is appointed, and afterward will remain a member of the law school faculty, according to a letter sent from board chairman Scott L. Bok.” You can read more here: https://www.wsj.com/us-news/education/university-of-pennsylvania-president-resigns-amid-furor-over-comments-on-antisemitism-on-campus-658d74cd
