He also discusses the Colts, and how them being ahead of schedule and in the playoff hunt is a good thing regardless of how it impacts draft placement.  

24:43 - 42:19 – Coach Bob Lovell from the legendary Indiana Sports Talk joins the show! Coach Lovell and JMV discuss the IHSAA Football State Finals, and the streaming numbers from those games. They also discuss the high school basketball season in the state of Indiana.  

42:20 – 44:46 – JMV wraps up the 1st hour of the show! 

44:47 – 1:09:37 – Mike Wells of ESPN radio joins the show! Mike and John discuss IU hiring Curt Cignetti as their next football coach. They also talk about the Pacers following back-to-back disappointing losses, and how their record should be better than what it is. The Pacers defense continues to be a major issue; Mike and JMV get into that. They also talk the Colts and the job done by Shane Steichen in his first year as their head coach.  

1:09:38 – 1:23:52 – Dave McGinnis of the Titans Radio Network joins the show to preview this Sunday’s Colts-Titans game! JMV and Dave dive into the Titans, who have struggled this season in close games, as well as rookie QB Will Levis, who has had his fair share of ups and downs. They then get into the impact Grover Stewart’s absence will have on the Colts defense this week as they face Derrick Henry.

1:26:39 – 1:52:21 – Voice of the Hoosiers Don Fischer joins the show to talk about IU’s new head football coach Curt Cignetti! Don gives his thoughts on Coach Cignetti’s opening press conference, and what he took away from his comments. Don and JMV also preview tonight’s basketball game between I.U and Maryland. Evan Sidery who covers the Pacers for Forbes joins the show to talk about the news that Steven Rales has bought a 15% minority stake in the team. Evan and John talk about some of the disappointing losses the Pacers have had the last several games. They discuss if there are any players the Pacers could target before the trade deadline. 

1:52:22 – 2:08:01 – New IU football head coach Curt Cignetti joins the show to talk about him joining the Hoosiers! Curt talks about his first day on the job in Bloomington, as well as what led him to accept the Hoosiers head coaching job. He talks about his vision for the program, and his excitement to get started.
