Als één van hoofdsponsors is VolkerWessels nauw betrokken bij de terugkeer van de Dutch Grand Prix. Het bedrijf bouwt momenteel Circuit Zandvoort om voor de komst van de Formule 1, inclusief twee spectaculaire kombochten. In februari moeten de werkzaamheden klaar zijn.
