The Quinnipiac Athletics Podcast is back! Back in the same studio, Dan Bahl and Tyler Brosious recap the week that was in QU athletics, and preview the upcoming weekend’s action.
This week, Dan is joined by Eric DaCosta and Graciano Brito, the head coach and assistant coach of Quinnipiac men’s soccer. Dan, Eric and Graciano discuss how the two came to Quinnipiac to play soccer, and how they’ve built their program over their 15 years together. They also talk about the state of soccer in the United States, and where they believe the sport is headed.
Dan is also joined by Emily Roskopf, senior outside center and captain of Quinnipiac rugby. Dan and Emily talk about her first experience with rugby while growing up in California, and why she decided to play at Quinnipiac. They also discuss what makes rugby so unique, break down some of the specific aspects of the game, and talk about the differences between rugby in America and overseas.
