There are an estimated half a million NCAA student athletes competing at various levels across the nation. At The University of Toledo approximately 400 wear the Rocket uniform in 16 different sports. Keeping them eligible and on track to graduate is an important job that largely takes place behind the scenes. Associate Director for Student Athlete Academic Services Tony Belt, and Assistant Director for Student Athlete Academic Services Jillian Lehman are both former student athletes. They join Brent Balbinot to give an inside look at keeping athletes eligible in order to keep them in uniform.
