When today’s guest began her Jiu Jitsu career at the age of 18 she wasn’t just one of the few females at her gym, she was the only one.

Hannette Staack started training in Brazil over 20 years ago, when the sport was arguably more aggressive and physical, and certainly, male-dominated.

But her dedication and love for the sport quickly won over her male counterparts and Hannette began to excel.

Now one of the most respected and decorated Jiu Jitsu competitors, Hannette shares with R?L Radio her journey, how to grow the female presence in Jiu Jitsu, and her dedication to changing lives through Jiu Jitsu.

Here is R?L Radio with multi-time IBJJF and ADCC World Champion, and co-founder of Brazil 021 School of Jiu Jitsu, Hannette Staack.
