This week’s guest can be considered one of the biggest innovators in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. After a severe knee injury, Roberto “Gordo” Correa changed forever the Half Guard position. Previously the last hope before your guard was passed, he turned it into the more offensive position we know today. He is also one of the greatest coaches in both BJJ and MMA, creating champions in both sports.

Listen as he discusses how he changed the way Half Guard is played, how to prevent injuries, and how to get back in the game, both physically and mentally, if you are injured, as well as how training and coaching have changed over the 30 plus years he has been on the mats.

Here is the R?L Radio with 2x World Champion, and 5x Pan Am Champion, “King of the Half Guard”, Roberto “Gordo” Correa.
