We have all seen people receive their black belt on the podium after winning gold, but what makes today’s guest's promotion after winning double gold at the IBJJF Worlds unique is that she did it at age of 65.

When most people are giving up on physically demanding sports, Betty Broadhurst began her Jiu Jitsu journey at age 54. Now a black belt Betty shares her incredible story with us. Listen as she describes how and why she got started so late in life, why competition is so important to her, the struggles she has had to endure, and her work with Roll Forever, the group she founded to ensure people can continue rolling at any age, and that brings world-class athletes to underserved communities for seminars and competition.

Here is the ROL Radio with 2021 IBJJF Worlds Masters Double Gold Winner and BJJ Black Belt, the truly inspirational, Betty Broadhurst.
