#9 Josh Shilney - a podcast by Thomas Rozdzynski and Gary Pond

Welcome back to ROL Radio. Today we have a newly promoted black belt under Jungle MMA’s Mike Lee and Thiago Domingues, Josh Shilney.

Josh grew up on the southside of Chicago and had a lot of obstacles and challenges as a teenager. After being roughed up and robbed his stepfather took him to meet a local BJJ practitioner and Josh fell in love with the sport.

Josh has had some fantastic BJJ mentors throughout his Jiu Jitsu journey and he believes without those father figures his life would have turned out much differently. 

So how has it turned out? Josh has his black belt along with degrees in philosophy, criminology, and now a Law degree.
