Of all the stories in the first series of my “The Round” podcast, the one that involves Marc Cayeux is definitely the most incredible, the most harrowing and probably the most inspiring.

Marc Cayeux is a pro golfer from Zimbabwe. But that description is an injustice.

He is a winner of 11 pro tournaments but this podcast isn't about that. This is about a man who has taken himself from death's door to remain a competitive sportsman, via tens of operations and numerous weeks in hospital. A golfer who has overcome extreme adversity, with an incredible spirit and attitude. And even his “round” playing alongside a certain Tiger Woods, has an unusual amount of twists and turns that you wouldn’t expect.
