from 2020-10-21T11:00
Educational Series pt 1.
In today's episode, Chance and I will discuss how to help students achieve a little more in their life by applying social-emotional learning into our current school system. During this episode, I talked about the importance of demonstrating self-management to students to help regulate their own emotions, manage everyday stress, and control their impulses. Social-Emotional Learning, also known as SEL, also teaches responsible decision-making and building healthy relationship skills that are needed in students’ everyday lives. Social-emotional learning is to help during the Covid19 pandemic and help students for the rest of their lives.
Chance and I discuss how to bridge the gap between schools and communities to help students' social and emotional skills in life.
