Relationship Series Part2 - Direct Relationships
"This is where two variables do the same thing. If one increases, the other increases. If one decreases, the other decreases." This is a conversation about "How to stay married for 17 years." My guest today is my better half, soul mate & best friend, Brooke Cummings. Episode 22 is not just another number, and this episode represents our wedding day, Aug 22nd, 2003.
During our discussion, Brooke & I talk about how being married is not a state of being; it is progress.  Disclaimer Brooke & I are NOT professionals at marriage, but we are willing to share our experiences. You get what you put into it.  Brooke & I talk about some experiences that are keys to healthy communication, be willing to change & take care of yourself.

Couples have to work on their communication, be willing to change & take care of themselves. Seek help if you are struggling in your relationship or yourself.  Marriage counseling and individual counseling help you with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and anger. I have created a recommended family, marriage, and individual counseling list in my show notes with links and information.  I hope this podcast opens the doors to start a conversation with your loved ones on why you should stay married. So let's get after it. Keep running, keep learning!
