Politics:

1.     Virtual Convention Dems went first. Agent Orange and his Hanger-on are going this week.

2.     Can Uncle Joe and Kamala lead America out of the darkness or are we headed for four more years of hatred, division, injustice, and hopelessness.

3.     Despite the current challenges I remain optimistic that our existence will improve

Our Thoughts become Things

Sports:

1.     NBA Bubble getting smaller a number of teams have been released from the house that Mickey Mouse built. In my mind the Lakers remain the favorite to win the chip.

2.     Lebron James continues to speak out about the police brutality and systemic racism that continues to push our nation further apart. 

3.     Montrezl Harrell apologized to Luka Doncic for his white boy comments. Props to both but black people we can not have it both ways. If it were the other way around the commentary I have heard recently would be vastly different.

Life:

1.     Thoughts and prayers go out to Jacob Blake after being shot multiple times in his back by racist police in Wisconsin. Paralyzed from the waist down according to his father.

2.     A number of you listening took his with one of my previous statement regarding the boys in blue.

3.     First of all that’s why I made the argument that this is who we are here in America. Stop lying to yourself if you believe otherwise. Yes there are a number of police who protect and serve and put their lives on the line. 

4.     However when it comes to policing Black people and most especially black men there are way too many bad apple who are haunting us at every turn. I do not live in fear but I do worry about my son and millions of other black people who remain at risk and are not given the benefit of the doubt or equal protection under the law.

Tell one. Who will yell another. Who will tell the world about The Rush On Life. Until next time Peace and Love
