Politics:

1.     Its September and according to the most recent polls the Presidential race is tightening.

2.     After surviving both the Democrat and Republican conventions, has your vote changed either way?

3.     Covid 19 is still here. More than 6 million Americans have been infected and Nearly 190,000 have lost their lives. I’m here to remind us all that this Pandemic is not over. When the Vaccine is available will you take it or give to your children?

Sports:

1.     NBA playoffs have resumed after a 3-day boycott. Was it worth it and will it matter in the long run. Props to Kenny Smith. Props to Naomi Osaka. Props to all the other teams/players who took a time out to effect positive change.

2.     Keep using your platform to demand positive change. We are way past the point of having a conversation. (George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Elijah McClain, Rayshard brooks, Jacob Blake and the countless others who have taken too soon. And in Mr. Blakes case paralyzed for being Black.)

3.     As the football season nears will we see similar forms of protest from NFL and College football players as well?

Entertainment/15 minutes of life.

1.     RIP Chadwick Boseman(Black Panther). A real-life superhero on and off the big screen.

2.     RIP John Thompson. Georgetown Hoyas. When I was a kid most of the young ones in my neighborhood dreamed of playing basketball for the great John Thompson.

3.     In closing in case you have forgotten? This is America. Jacob Blake a Black man is lying in a hospital bed paralyzed and fighting to recover from seven shots to his back. Kyle Rittenhouse a 17-year-old White boy who killed two people is being praised by some on the right as a hero and Agent Orange has not denounced his actions and suggest that it may have been self-defense.
