An Interview with Rob Ready, Artistic Director at PianoFight - a podcast by Sam Jack

For the past 10 years PianoFight has been at the forefront of the theater arts and live comedy scene in San Francisco. From their humble beginnings as a comedy theater collective to a signature venue for up-and-coming local artist as well as traveling acts from around the world, PianoFight has built a large collective of tight knit comedy acts, musicians, entertainers and performers, with a strong and talented captain at the helm, Rob Ready. We sit down with Rob, virtually, to talk about how they are coping in this pandemic, how PianoFight grew and the resilience of community and support from their fans in these times of troubles.
We also talk about what's to come and his thoughts of the brave new world with live venues shifting towards an online virtual performance mode. What's income in the future, who knows? What is for sure PianoFight, with Rob Ready charging the way, will be at the forefront of live performance & entertainment.
