Last month I started a new segment of The Science of Successful Job Hunting podcast called “Career Inspiration”.

This is where I interview mid to senior level professionals doing amazing, unique, exciting or unusual things in their work lives to find out their story and to draw lessons on how we can replicate it in our own work lives.

My guest today is a fascinating mix of an “accounting head” and an all-out creative! Morenike Ajayi works for a housing association by day where she is the Assistant Director of Finance and Procurement.

At night however, she moonlights as the executive producer and presenter of Career Nuggets, a TV talk show that focuses on business and career development and airs on OHTV Sky 199 every Tuesday and Saturday.

With Season 2 of Career Nuggets kicking off in January 2016, I wanted to find out from Morenike just how she has managed to build a successful career in these two seemingly opposite worlds and what advice she has for any professional looking to do the same.
