Come here and I’ll write you a story. Let me immortalize you in allegories and words. Lay down on the bed and undress. I want to see every mole, every scar. I want to capture those little folds in tight spaces. I want to remember it all.



Tomorrow, I must come back to him, and you to her. Memories fade into regrets so swiftly. Let me write a story where we end up together, where we won’t hurt anyone and we can just love.



He hesitates then comes close. I scribble furiously. “Come here and I’ll write you a story.”
