Is TV Getting Too Black for White America? - a podcast by Talk2Q

Minorities are starting to take over the TV screens.  Will there be push back?

Over the last five years, we've seen black actors get more lead roles.  Kerry Washington in "Scandal" and Viola Davis in "How to Get Away with Murder" to name a couple.  Afterwards, we started seeing shows with predominantly black cast members have success.  "Power" and "Empire" to name a couple.

Now, the newest round of shows featuring a huge black cast is being met with disdain on social media.  "Luke Cage" and "Insecure" were called "too black" by quite a few white people who couldn't get with the cast and/or content.

As long as the shows are getting good ratings, does it really matter?  Will "Black Hollywood" never be accepted long term?

We'll discuss that, the Real Politicians of D.C. and their garbage of a debate, and I'll ask "what, other than cheating, can cause the demise of a relationship?"

These things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions."

Show No. 639

Scheduled for 75 mins.
